Fenton Recpetion

At the end of August we went to Eddyville for Ben and Stacey Fenton's wedding reception. Ben is the older brother to one of Guy's friends from high school. Ben graduated in mechanical engineering a few years ago and is going back to school for computer engineering. We went down the night before and spent some time in Chillicothe. Guy fixed the riding lawn mower when we were down there.

We had a lot of fun at the reception. They had pulled pork sandwiches, chips, different salads, and a variety of cupcakes. There were also different lawn games to play. We played what Guy calls yard golf (I know it as cowboy bowling), basically you're trying to thrown golfballs that are tied together with a rope and get them to land on a PVC pipe ladder. We also played with the bean bag toss. A little later in the evening Guy and some friends from high school played this nail game. There were a couple of different ways to play the game. They played:
1. Throwing the hammer, catching it, and immediately hitting someone's nail (no pause in between)
2. Hitting someone else's nail in a single motion (without throwing the hammer)
3. Using the opposite hand to try and hit their own nail, with the first nail in the winner.

Nails and hammers flying really isn't my thing, so I stayed back and just watched.

We had a great time at the reception and Guy enjoyed seeing friends from high school.
